Visited Places: Pyramids of Giza, Nile River, Egyptian Museum, Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Alexandria: Catacombs, Lighthouse of Alexandria, Library of Alexandria, Abu al-Nasari Mosque

In April 2025, I had the incredible opportunity to visit the historic land of Egypt, where ancient civilization meets timeless beauty.

My journey began with the world-famous Pyramids of Giza, standing tall as a symbol of ancient human ingenuity. It was a dream come true to witness these magnificent structures up close.

I also enjoyed a serene experience by the Nile River, the lifeblood of Egypt, followed by a deep dive into history at the Egyptian Museum, where countless ancient artifacts told stories of pharaohs and empires.

In Cairo, I explored the bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar, filled with traditional crafts, souvenirs, and local flavors.

I then traveled to Alexandria, a coastal city rich in Greco-Roman heritage. Highlights included the eerie yet fascinating Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the historic Lighthouse of Alexandria, and the modern Library of Alexandria — a treasure trove of knowledge. I also visited the beautiful and peaceful Abu al-Nasari Mosque, which added a spiritual dimension to my journey.

Egypt is truly a destination where history, culture, and wonder come together.
