Visited Places: Colombo City, Lotus Tower, City Tour, Beach

In June 2024, I had the chance to explore the beautiful island nation of Sri Lanka. My journey focused mostly on Colombo, the vibrant capital city, where tradition meets modernity.

I started with a relaxing city tour, which gave me an overview of Colombo’s architecture, culture, and lifestyle. From busy streets to colonial-era buildings, Colombo has a charm of its own.

One of the main highlights of the trip was visiting the Lotus Tower, Sri Lanka’s tallest structure. Its unique lotus-shaped design and panoramic views from the top made it a must-see attraction.

I also spent some peaceful time at the beach, enjoying the soothing sea breeze and warm sunlight. It was the perfect escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.

This short but enriching trip to Sri Lanka left me with unforgettable memories — a beautiful mix of coastal serenity and urban life.
